Job 42 and 2nd Timothy 1
The 2 words and theme that is common in these chapters is the word, purpose, and the theme is God’s purpose. In both to fulfill God’s purpose one is put through trials.
Job 42:2 (KJV)
2I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.

“I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
Job 42:3 (KJV)
3Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

You asked, ‘Who is this that obscures my plans without knowledge?’ Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know.
