Numbers 22 and 2 Thessalonians 2 Both chapters are about deception being given to those that did not want the truth but put pleasure in unrighteousness first.

Num 22:32-36 (KJV)
32And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass these three times? behold, I went out to withstand thee, because thy way is perverse before me:33And the ass saw me, and turned from me these three times: unless she had turned from me, surely now also I had slain thee, and saved her alive.34And Balaam said unto the angel of the LORD, I have sinned; for I knew not that thou stoodest in the way against me: now therefore, if it displease thee, I will get me back again.35And the angel of the LORD said unto Balaam, Go with the men: but only the word that I shall speak unto thee, that thou shalt speak. So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.36And when Balak heard that Balaam was come, he went out to meet him unto a city of Moab, which is in the border of Arnon, which is in the utmost coast.

2Thess 2:10-12 (KJV)
10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Hab 2:4 (KJV)
4Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
Hab 2:13-14 (KJV)
13Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?14For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Hab 2:19-20 (KJV)
19Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.20But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.
Prov 30:4-5 (KJV)
4Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?5Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

2Thess 3:5 (KJV)
5And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

1Kings 11 and Nehemiah 11 plus Daniel 8
The common theme found in these chapters is about Jerusalem.
1Kgs 11:12-13 (KJV)
12Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father’s sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.13Howbeit I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant’s sake, and for Jerusalem’s sake which I have chosen.
Neh 11:1-3 (KJV)
1And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities.2And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.3Now these are the chief of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, to wit, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants.
Dan 8:11-13 (KJV)
11Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.12And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.13Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

John 9 and Jeremiah 8
Both of these chapters are on willful blindness agansit the truth and
John 9:3-5 (KJV)
3Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.4I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.5As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
John 9:15-16 (KJV)
15Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.16Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
John 9:30-34 (KJV)
30The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes.31Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.32Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind.33If this man were not of God, he could do nothing.34They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.

John 9:39-41 (KJV)
39And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.40And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?41Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.
Jer 8:12 (KJV)
Jer 8:3 (KJV)
3And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the LORD of hosts.

12Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.
Jer 8:19-22 (KJV)
19Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of them that dwell in a far country: Is not the LORD in Zion? is not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with strange vanities?20The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.21For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me.22Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?

Jeremiah 46 and Jonah 4 plus 2 Peter 3
Jer 46:26-27 (KJV)
26And I will deliver them into the hand of those that seek their lives, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of his servants: and afterward it shall be inhabited, as in the days of old, saith the LORD.27But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him afraid.

Jer 46:28 (KJV)
28Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD: for I am with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished.

Jonah 4:10-11 (KJV)
10Then said the LORD, Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night:11And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?

2Pet 3:12-14 (KJV)
12Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?13Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.14Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
2Pet 3:8-9 (KJV)
8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Psalms 69 and 2 John 1 plus Daniel 8
In these chapters is seen the Anti-Christ spirit that persecutes the righteous and the secret to overcoming this.
Ps 69:8-11 (KJV)
8I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother’s children.9For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.10When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.11I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.

Ps 69:12-14 (KJV)
12They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.13But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.14Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.

Ps 69:15 (KJV)
15Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.
Ps 69:26-32 (KJV)
26For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.27Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.28Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.29But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.30I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.31This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.32The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.
2John 1:4-7 (KJV)
4I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.5And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.6And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.7For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
Dan 8:9-13 (KJV)
9And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.10And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.11Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.12And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.13Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
