SCRIPTURES BY THE CASTING OF THE LOT AND ROUGH NOTES USED IN PROPHETIC MESSAGE

December 10, 2024 Tuesday
Exodus 10 and Proverbs 30

These two chapters give the message that the hardening of the heart against God that eventually brings full everlasting destruction is related to not having humility out of the fear of God. The characteristics of that hardness are seen in Proverbs 30. This is why Pharoah hardened his heart over and over to his full destruction and that of Egypt even though seeing great signs and wonders.

Prov 30:3-6 (KJV)

3I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy.4Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?5Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.6Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Not desiring what is vain but what is conducive unto godliness

Not being judgmental

Not being rebellious out of pride and conciet

Not feeding covetousness

Showing honor and respect especially to parents

Those that are rebellious and proud are intolerable to live with and to rule righteously.

Those that do not show reverence to others such as parents are doomed to serious tragic judgment.

Exod 10:27-29 (KJV)

27But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he would not let them go.28And Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in that day thou seest my face thou shalt die.29And Moses said, Thou hast spoken well, I will see thy face again no more.

Ezekiel 47 and 2 Chronicles 17
The common theme in these two chapters are the ways of real lasting prosperity in the ways of the LORD.
2Chr 17:3-6 (KJV)

3And the LORD was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto Baalim;4But sought to the LORD God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.5Therefore the LORD stablished the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat presents; and he had riches and honour in abundance.6And his heart was lifted up in the ways of the LORD: moreover he took away the high places and groves out of Judah.

2Chr 17:9 (KJV)

9And they taught in Judah, and had the book of the law of the LORD with them, and went about throughout all the cities of Judah, and taught the people.

Ezek 47:6-12 (KJV)

6And he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the brink of the river.7Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.8Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.9And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.10And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from Engedi even unto Eneglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many.11But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.12And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.
