Psalms 84 and Acts 19
These 2 chapters reveal a contrast between the temple of God and the temples of this world. Those who are not upright before God have self-seeking motives for the temporal pleasures of this world via the temple of their own self-worship.

Ps 84:1-7 (KJV)
1To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. How amiable [are] thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!2My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.3Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, [even] thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.4Blessed [are] they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.5Blessed [is] the man whose strength [is] in thee; in whose heart [are] the ways [of them].6[Who] passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.7They go from strength to strength, [every one of them] in Zion appeareth before God.

Ps 84:8-12 (KJV)
😯 LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.9Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.10For a day in thy courts [is] better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.11For the LORD God [is] a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good [thing] will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.12O LORD of hosts, blessed [is] the man that trusteth in thee.

Acts 19:28-32 (KJV)
28And when they heard [these sayings], they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great [is] Diana of the Ephesians.29And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul’s companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre.30And when Paul would have entered in unto the people, the disciples suffered him not.31And certain of the chief of Asia, which were his friends, sent unto him, desiring [him] that he would not adventure himself into the theatre.32Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused; and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.

Acts 19:40-41 (KJV)
40For we are in danger to be called in question for this day’s uproar, there being no cause whereby we may give an account of this concourse.41And when he had thus spoken, he dismissed the assembly.

Acts 19:9-12 (KJV)
9But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.10And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.11And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:12So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.
