The common theme in these chapters is the coming of the LORD and God exposing all that is evil and hidden in man’s heart and those who are found watching and ready for His second coming.

Song of Solomon 1 and Psalms 55
In both chapters there is the description of going through trials. Because of going through trials there is found after these trials the place of intimacy with God and refuge in God by discovering the assembly of God’s people meeting with God.

These two chapters are about overcoming the reproach and the intimidation of the enemies of God.

Luke 22 and Ephesians 2
In both of these chapters we see God’s mercy towards those that have sinned against Him but had a repentant heart. Judas did not receive mercy because he never was converted in the first place but was always a thief with impure motives.

The common theme between these chapters is that those who hunger and thirst to seek the LORD will be blessed with the dwelling presence of God individually and in assembly which will bring deliverance to them in the time of great need.
