John 18 and 2 John 1
Those that are of the truth which is the reality of Who God is will hear the voice of God. Both of these chapters have a strong emphasize on truth and what the truth is.
John 18:36-38 (KJV)
36Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.37Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.38Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault [at all].

2John 1:1-4 (KJV)
1The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;2For the truth’s sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.3Grace be with you, mercy, [and] peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.4I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.

Jer 14:20-22 (KJV)
20We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness, [and] the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee.21Do not abhor [us], for thy name’s sake, do not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us.22Are there [any] among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? [art] not thou he, O LORD our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these [things].

1Pet 5:5-11 (KJV)
5Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all [of you] be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.6Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:7Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.8Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:9Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.10But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle [you].11To him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Revelation 21 and Acts 10 plus 1 John 3
Revelation 21 describes the completed work of the kingdom of God in the new earth and heaven and Acts 10 is showing one of the many steps in progress towards that completion.
Acts 10:34-36 (KJV)
34Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:35But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.36The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)

1John 3:1-3 (KJV)
1Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.2Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.3And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Philppians 1 and Psalms 97
The joy of faith comes out of receiving and conforming to the love of God which first hates evil and secondly loves the love of God revealed in the mercy of God. Those that love God Who is love are commanded to hate the opposite of love which is evil. God sows light into the righteous that is accompanied with gladness of heart because they are upright out of the fear of God.
Both of these chapters have a strong theme of rejoicing and gladness in the LORD. We are commanded to rejoice in Who Yaweh is. He is our very life source, deliverer, and protector.
Ps 97:1-12 (KJV)
1The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.2Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.3A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.4His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.5The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.6The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.7Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.8Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.9For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.10Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.11Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.12Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
Phil 1:4 (KJV)
4Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
Phil 1:18 (KJV)
18What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

Phil 1:21-25 (KJV)
21For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.22But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.23For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:24Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.25And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;

Phil 1:26-27 (KJV)
26That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.27Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Numbers 9 and Micah 5
In Numbers 9 we see the absolute importance for salvation by partaking of the passover lamb for cleansing and forgiveness of sin and also the leading of Israel by the abiding manifest presence of God over the tent of testimony. In Micah 5 Jesus Christ the real lamb of God is described in being smitten by a rod which came to pass just before His atoning crucifixion on the cross. There is also the prophecy of Christ’s rule and reign upon the earth with the remnant of the other tribes of Israel. In the last days God will lead His remnant to rule with a rod of Iron over the whole earth. In Numbers 9 God led the children by His presence in a pillar of fire over the tent of testimony which contained the mercy seat which speaks of the passover lamb.

Mic 5:1-4 (KJV)
1Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.2But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.3Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.4And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.
Mic 5:7-9 (KJV)
7And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the LORD, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.8And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.9Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.
Num 9:9-13 (KJV)
9And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,10Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD.11The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.12They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it.13But the man that is clean, and is not in a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
Num 9:14-17 (KJV)
14And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.15And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, namely, the tent of the testimony: and at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning.16So it was alway: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night.17And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents.
