Acts 17 and Judges 17
God honoured the remnant of the tribe of Dan who was willing to break off from their tribe and fulfil the command to inherit the land but God given. No doubt because they did not receive their full inherit they experienced lack and therefore became desperate enough to pay the price to enter their full inheritance.
Acts 17:11-12 (KJV)
11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.12Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.
Acts 17:26-31 (KJV)
26And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;27That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:28For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.29Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.30And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:31Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
Judg 17:4-6 (KJV)
4Yet he restored the money unto his mother; and his mother took two hundred shekels of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a graven image and a molten image: and they were in the house of Micah.5And the man Micah had an house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.6In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
