SCRIPTURES TAKEN BY LOT BEFORE GOD WITH ROUGH NOTES

April 28, 2025 Monday ELECTION DAY
Psalms 95 and Zechariah 11
When we lose the ways of God we fall into a hardness that leads to becoming the enemies of God. The ways of God keep our heart soft to be moved in love to serve the least of the brethren which is an act of love and worship onto God. The false shepherds by the time of Christ made their brotherhood with the Gentile Roman godless system instead of with their own brethren.
Ps 95:8-11 (KJV)
8Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:9When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.10Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:11Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

Zech 11:1-17 (KJV)
1Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.2Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage is come down.3There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.4Thus saith the LORD my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter;5Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.6For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour’s hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.7And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.8Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.9Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.10And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.11And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the LORD.12And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.13And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.14Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.15And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.16For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.17Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.

Malachi 4 and Proverbs 12
Both of these chapters have the word, root, in them and also many verses using the word, wicked, to describe them and their end in judgment. Those that do wickedly and are proud will become like stubble that will be devoured by the integrity of God’s all consuming presence in holy love. The lack of the fear of God is evident in the pride of people and that their deeds are wicked. The wicked will have no root nor branch at the LORD’s return to earth in judgment. Proverbs reveals that the wicked are proud, filled with deceit, and seek to destroy others for their own selfish gain. To fear the name of the LORD births the opposite of wickedness.
Mal 4:1-6 (KJV)
1For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.2But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.3And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.4Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.5Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:6And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Prov 12:1-28 (KJV)
1Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.2A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.3A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.4A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.5The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.6The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.7The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand.8A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.9He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread.10A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.11He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding.12The wicked desireth the net of evil men: but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit.13The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.14A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man’s hands shall be rendered unto him.15The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.16A fool’s wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame.17He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.18There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.19The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.20Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy.21There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.22Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.23A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.24The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.25Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.26The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them.27The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.28In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.

Leviticus 22 and 2 Samuel 3
These two chapters reveal that God requires complete holiness with no compromise to enter into pursuing the kingdom of God and the holy purposes of God. Abner had good motives and intentions of uniting the kingdom of Israel but because he compromised in intercourse with the comcubine of Saul is probably why in the end his life was cut short.

Lev 22:1-3 (KJV)
1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,2Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy name in those things which they hallow unto me: I am the LORD.3Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LORD.
Lev 22:25 (KJV)
25Neither from a stranger’s hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and blemishes be in them: they shall not be accepted for you.

2Sam 3:7-9 (KJV)
7And Saul had a concubine, whose name was Rizpah, the daughter of Aiah: and Ishbosheth said to Abner, Wherefore hast thou gone in unto my father’s concubine?8Then was Abner very wroth for the words of Ishbosheth, and said, Am I a dog’s head, which against Judah do shew kindness this day unto the house of Saul thy father, to his brethren, and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into the hand of David, that thou chargest me to day with a fault concerning this woman?9So do God to Abner, and more also, except, as the LORD hath sworn to David, even so I do to him;

Isaiah 25 and Ezekiel 22
Both of these chapters reveal the need for a Messiah to make atonement for the nation of Israel.
Isa 25:1-12 (KJV)
1O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.2For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.3Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.4For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.5Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.6And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.7And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.8He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.9And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.10For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.11And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.12And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.
Ezek 22:26-30 (KJV)
26Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.27Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.28And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken.29The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.30And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
