1Sam 20:14-19 (KJV)
14And thou shalt not only while yet I live shew me the kindness of the LORD, that I die not:15But also thou shalt not cut off thy kindness from my house for ever: no, not when the LORD hath cut off the enemies of David every one from the face of the earth.16So Jonathan made a covenant with the house of David, saying, Let the LORD even require it at the hand of David’s enemies.17And Jonathan caused David to swear again, because he loved him: for he loved him as he loved his own soul.18Then Jonathan said to David, To morrow is the new moon: and thou shalt be missed, because thy seat will be empty.19And when thou hast stayed three days, then thou shalt go down quickly, and come to the place where thou didst hide thyself when the business was in hand, and shalt remain by the stone Ezel.
1Sam 26:9-12 (KJV)
9And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the LORD’S anointed, and be guiltless?10David said furthermore, As the LORD liveth, the LORD shall smite him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall descend into battle, and perish.11The LORD forbid that I should stretch forth mine hand against the LORD’S anointed: but, I pray thee, take thou now the spear that is at his bolster, and the cruse of water, and let us go.12So David took the spear and the cruse of water from Saul’s bolster; and they gat them away, and no man saw it, nor knew it, neither awaked: for they were all asleep; because a deep sleep from the LORD was fallen upon them.
Isa 56:2-6 (KJV)
2Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.3Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.4For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;5Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.6Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
Dan 12:9-13 (KJV)
9And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.10Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.11And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.12Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.13But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

Psalms 124 and Joshua 21 plus Psalms 110
The theme in these chapters is that deliverance is not at all from our own strength to fight the enemy but only from God. When God’s people come to the time when they are yielded totally to fight the battle against overwhelming odds there will be at that time the day of God’s power revealed and released out of the holiness of His love to conquer all the earth with the kingdom of God.
Ps 124:1-7 (KJV)
1A Song of degrees of David. If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;2If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:3Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:4Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:5Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.6Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.7Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
Ps 124:8 (KJV)
8Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
Ps 110:2-7 (KJV)
2The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.3Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.4The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.5The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.6He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.7He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.
Josh 21:44-45 (KJV)
44And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.45There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

1 Kings 15 and Daniel 5
In both these chapters we see kings that ruled in great pride and iniquity against God who by God’s judgment upon them were murdered and replaced by another King.
God is revealing that He is about to judge spiritual leaders and presidents of nations for their proud defiance against God and for their wickedness. God is calling for the leaders of churches and His people to humble themselves and turn from their wicked ways.
1Kgs 15:3-7 (KJV)
3And he walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as the heart of David his father.4Nevertheless for David’s sake did the LORD his God give him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem:5Because David did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, and turned not aside from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.6And there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life.7Now the rest of the acts of Abijam, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? And there was war between Abijam and Jeroboam.
1Kgs 15:25-28 (KJV)
25And Nadab the son of Jeroboam began to reign over Israel in the second year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned over Israel two years.26And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of his father, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin.27And Baasha the son of Ahijah, of the house of Issachar, conspired against him; and Baasha smote him at Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines; for Nadab and all Israel laid siege to Gibbethon.28Even in the third year of Asa king of Judah did Baasha slay him, and reigned in his stead.
Dan 5:18-30 (KJV)
18O thou king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honour:19And for the majesty that he gave him, all people, nations, and languages, trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he would he kept alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put down.20But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:21And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will.22And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this;23But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:24Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written.25And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.26This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.27TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.28PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.29Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.30In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain.

Exodus 27 and Zephaniah 1 plus Jeremiah 19
These chapters contain the common theme on sacrifice and the altar of sacrifice. The wicked burn their children on the altar with fire to the Devil. When we receive of Jesus Christ as our substitutionary sacrifice in thankfulness we also put ourselves on the altar in full identification with His sacrifice so that we freely sacrifice our lives to receive His judgments so that we can have authority as the horns of the altar and also hear God from the horns of the altar. God also then brings judgment on the wicked so that we can partake of those spoils.
Exod 27:1-2 (KJV)
1And thou shalt make an altar of shittim wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof shall be three cubits.2And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof: his horns shall be of the same: and thou shalt overlay it with brass.
Zeph 1:6-8 (KJV)
6And them that are turned back from the LORD; and those that have not sought the LORD, nor enquired for him.7Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.8And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD’S sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king’s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.
Jer 19:4-6 (KJV)
4Because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;5They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:6Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that this place shall no more be called Tophet, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The valley of slaughter.

Mark 14:17-25 (KJV)
17And in the evening he cometh with the twelve.18And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me.19And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one, Is it I? and another said, Is it I?20And he answered and said unto them, It is one of the twelve, that dippeth with me in the dish.21The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.22And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.23And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.24And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.25Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
Zech 6:11-13 (KJV)
11Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest;12And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:13Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
