Prophetic Message with Scripture Taken By Lot
October 8, 2024 Tuesday
Acts 22 and Isaiah 33 plus Exodus 3
All three of these chapters have the bright burning light of the glory of God being used to bring forth the kingdom of God either by judgment upon the wicked or by bringing conversion to those opposing God out of ignorace or by God calling those to be His special messengers.
Acts 22:6-11 (KJV)
6And it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round about me.7And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?8And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.9And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.10And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do.11And when I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus.
Isa 33:5-9 (KJV)
5The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.6And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.7Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.8The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.9The earth mourneth and languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.
Isa 33:10-17 (KJV)
10Now will I rise, saith the LORD; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.11Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as fire, shall devour you.12And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.13Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge my might.14The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?15He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;16He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.17Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.
Exodus 3
Moses at the Burning Bush
1Moses was taking care of the sheep of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian. As he led the sheep to the far side of the desert, he came to Horeb, the mountain of God.
2The Messenger of the Lord appeared to him there as flames of fire coming out of a bush. Moses looked, and although the bush was on fire, it was not burning up. 3So he thought, “Why isn’t this bush burning up? I must go over there and see this strange sight.”
4When the Lord saw that Moses had come over to see it, God called to him from the bush, “Moses, Moses!”

Hosea 11 and Genesis 49
Both of these chapters are about a time when God’s blessing and favor comes on the tribes of Israel. It would seem that Jacob through prophecy only blessed certain of his sons. However, the judgments pronounced on some of his sons is also a blessing because it turns them to true repentance that leads to the grace of God in the last days. It is when God in His just wrath is about to destroy Israel that somehow God’s heart is changed towards them to show mercy and therein also their heart is turned in full and complete repentance in the last days. Both chapters speak of Ephraim (Joseph) and Judah
Gen 49:3-5 (KJV)
3Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:4Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.5Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations.
Gen 49:8-12 (KJV)
8Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father’s children shall bow down before thee.9Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?10The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.11Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:12His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.
Gen 49:22-26 (KJV)
22Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:23The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him:24But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)25Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:26The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.
Hos 11:7-12 (KJV)
7And my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all would exalt him.8How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? how shall I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.9I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.10They shall walk after the LORD: he shall roar like a lion: when he shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west.11They shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of Assyria: and I will place them in their houses, saith the LORD.12Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints.

Leviticus 7 and Matthew 17
Both chapters talk about the third day in regards to the atonement being perfected because it completely consumed on the third day.
Lev 7:15-20 (KJV)
15And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is offered; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.16But if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offereth his sacrifice: and on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten:17But the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.18And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an abomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity.19And the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all that be clean shall eat thereof.20But the soul that eateth of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, that pertain unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
Matt 17:22-23 (KJV)
22And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:23And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.
Exod 19:11 (KJV)
11And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.
16 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled. [BI, DTN, JFB, NET Notes, TSK]
Num 19:12 (KJV)
12He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.
Esth 5:1 (KJV)
1Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king’s house, over against the king’s house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house.
Hos 6:1-2 (KJV)
1Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.2After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

Leviticus 23
Lev 23:27-30 (KJV)
27Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.28And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.29For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.30And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
Rev 16:15 (KJV)
15Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
Rev 3:18 (KJV)
18I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
Rev 7:13-15 (KJV)
13And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.15Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
Rev 3:17-19 (KJV)
17Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:18I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Rev 3:4-5 (KJV)
4Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.5He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
2Cor 7:9-11 (KJV)
9Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.10For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.11For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.
