Isa 25:1-12 (KJV)
1O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.2For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.3Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.4For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.5Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.6And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.7And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.8He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.9And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.10For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.11And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.12And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.

And the child did minister unto the LORD before Eli the priest.12Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the LORD.13And the priests’ custom with the people was, that, when any man offered sacrifice, the priest’s servant came, while the flesh was in seething, with a fleshhook of three teeth in his hand;14And he struck it into the pan, or kettle, or caldron, or pot; all that the fleshhook brought up the priest took for himself. So they did in Shiloh unto all the Israelites that came thither.15Also before they burnt the fat, the priest’s servant came, and said to the man that sacrificed, Give flesh to roast for the priest; for he will not have sodden flesh of thee, but raw.16And if any man said unto him, Let them not fail to burn the fat presently, and then take as much as thy soul desireth; then he would answer him, Nay; but thou shalt give it me now: and if not, I will take it by force.17Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the LORD: for men abhorred the offering of the LORD.18But Samuel ministered before the LORD, being a child, girded with a linen ephod.19Moreover his mother made him a little coat, and brought it to him from year to year, when she came up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice.20And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the LORD. And they went unto their own home.21And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.22Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.23And he said unto them, Why do ye such things? for I hear of your evil dealings by all this people.24Nay, my sons; for it is no good report that I hear: ye make the LORD’S people to transgress.25If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay them.26And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men.27And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh’s house?28And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel?29Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?30Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.31Behold, the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father’s house, that there shall not be an old man in thine house.32And thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever.33And the man of thine, whom I shall not cut off from mine altar, shall be to consume thine eyes, and to grieve thine heart: and all the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age.34And this shall be a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them.35And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.36And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests’ offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.

2 Chronicles 9 and Matthew 14 plus 2 Chronicles 8
In these chapters we see the glory of God manifested among men that causes fame to spread throughout the land and the world that points people to glorify and seek the one true living God. The glory of God was manifested to the disciples when He walked on the water in the storm and into their ship. They then confessed that truly this is the Son of God.
2Chr 8:12-18 (KJV)
12Then Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the LORD on the altar of the LORD, which he had built before the porch,13Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.14And he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their charges, to praise and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required: the porters also by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of God commanded.15And they departed not from the commandment of the king unto the priests and Levites concerning any matter, or concerning the treasures.16Now all the work of Solomon was prepared unto the day of the foundation of the house of the LORD, and until it was finished. So the house of the LORD was perfected.17Then went Solomon to Eziongeber, and to Eloth, at the sea side in the land of Edom.18And Huram sent him by the hands of his servants ships, and servants that had knowledge of the sea; and they went with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and took thence four hundred and fifty talents of gold, and brought them to king Solomon.

1And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.2And Solomon told her all her questions: and there was nothing hid from Solomon which he told her not.3And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built,4And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.5And she said to the king, It was a true report which I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom:6Howbeit I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me: for thou exceedest the fame that I heard.7Happy are thy men, and happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom.8Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king for the LORD thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice.9And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices great abundance, and precious stones: neither was there any such spice as the queen of Sheba gave king Solomon.

Psalms 74 and Proverbs 17 plus John 11
The message in these chapters is that we must persevere when there is reproach until the time when there is God’s supernatural deliverance or resurrection power over death and the enemy.
Prov 17:12-15 (KJV)
12Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly.13Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.14The beginning of strife is as when one letteth out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with.15He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.
Ps 74:17-21 (KJV)
17Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.18Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.19O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever.20Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.21O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name.

Isaiah 34 and Psalms 61 plus Revelation 16
The message in these three chapters is about God’s judgment in the last days upon all nations and of His church being in the place of purity and of intimate refuge in the presence of God at that time.
Isa 34:1-6 (KJV)
1Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.2For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.3Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.4And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.5For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.6The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.

The common theme discovered in these 3 chapters is that hunger for the truth and abiding in the truth at any cost brings forth the fruit of prosperity including material prosperity that brings glory to God and turns multitudes to the saving knowledge of God through Jesus Christ.
