SCRIPTURES TAKE BY LOT WITH ROUGH NOTES

March 31, 2025 Monday
John 1 and Daniel 3
The common theme between these two chapters is the declaration and revealing that there is only one true eternal God. In John 1 God is referring to Yahweh Who is the God, the Father and God, the Holy Spirit. The Word is also Yahweh the Word is the full expression of the Father that reveals Who Yahweh is.

In Daniel 3 God is revealed as the one true God and also as God, the Son, as they are in the midst of the burning fiery furnace with God, the Son, in their midst.

John 1:1-13 (KJV)

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.2The same was in the beginning with God.3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.4In him was life; and the life was the light of men.5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.6There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.7The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.8He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.9That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.10He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.11He came unto his own, and his own received him not.12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Dan 3:19-30 (KJV)

19Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.20And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.21Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.22Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.23And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.24Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.25He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.26Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.27And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.28Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.29Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.30Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.

Ezekiel 32 and Isaiah 5
Both of these chapters describe the judgment on nations that have rebelled against God and describe them that are proud descending into hell. Also both chapters describe darkness covering the land. These judgments are parallel to judgment in the last days on the Anti-Christ world system.

Ezek 32:7-10 (KJV)

7And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.8All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.9I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known.10Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall.

Ezek 32:17-23 (KJV)

17It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,18Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the earth, with them that go down into the pit.19Whom dost thou pass in beauty? go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised.20They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword: draw her and all her multitudes.21The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword.22Asshur is there and all her company: his graves are about him: all of them slain, fallen by the sword:23Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which caused terror in the land of the living.

Isa 5:13-16 (KJV)

13Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.14Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.15And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:16But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.

Isa 5:30 (KJV)

30And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.

Psalms 92 and Jeremiah 15 plus Ezekiel 32

Ezekiel 32 was received the day before by lot also.

This is about God’s hate and just judgment upon the wicked as nations and His deliverance and blessing on those who reproved them and were persecuted by them.

Ps 92:6-9 (KJV)

6A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.7When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:8But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.9For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

Ps 92:10-15 (KJV)

10But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.11Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.12The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.13Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.14They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;15To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

Jer 15:15-17 (KJV)

15O LORD, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke.16Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.17I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation.

Ezek 32:7-9 (KJV)

7And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.8All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.9I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known.

Ezek 32:17-21 (KJV)

17It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,18Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the earth, with them that go down into the pit.19Whom dost thou pass in beauty? go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised.20They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword: draw her and all her multitudes.21The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword.

Acts 18 and Deuteronomy 7
These two chapters show a contrast. In Deuteronomy 7 Israel is conquering the Gentile nations because these nations have entered into devotion that is in rebellion against God in the worship of the devil and sacrificing their children to demons. Therefore they are not to be spared or shown mercy but utterly destroyed because they have become hardened against God and Who God is. In Acts 18 because Israel failed to not compromise with the Gentile nations at enmity with God Israel has now become self-righteous to justify their failure and persecutes those that have the power to convert the Gentiles to become true spiritual Jews by the circumcision of their heart. God’s purpose was that they would be a holy nation and a Kingdom of Priest to the nations of the world.

Deut 7:6-11 (KJV)

6For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.7The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:8But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.9Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;10And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.11Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them.

Acts 18:6-8 (KJV)

6And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.7And he departed thence, and entered into a certain man’s house, named Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue.8And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.

Acts 18:14-17 (KJV)

14And when Paul was now about to open his mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong or wicked lewdness, O ye Jews, reason would that I should bear with you:15But if it be a question of words and names, and of your law, look ye to it; for I will be no judge of such matters.16And he drave them from the judgment seat.17Then all the Greeks took Sosthenes, the chief ruler of the synagogue, and beat him before the judgment seat. And Gallio cared for none of those things.
