Zephaniah 2 and Mark 13
Both of these chapters are about the return of Jesus Christ to the earth and about the judgment that God will bring upon the earth just before His return and as He is seen returning by the whole earth.
Zeph 2:3 (KJV)
3Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.
Zeph 2:10-11 (KJV)
10This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified [themselves] against the people of the LORD of hosts.11The LORD [will be] terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and [men] shall worship him, every one from his place, [even] all the isles of the heathen.
Zeph 2:12-13 (KJV)
12Ye Ethiopians also, ye [shall be] slain by my sword.13And he will stretch out his hand against the north, and destroy Assyria; and will make Nineveh a desolation, [and] dry like a wilderness.

Zeph 3:6-9 (KJV)
6I have cut off the nations: their towers are desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passeth by: their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, that there is none inhabitant.7I said, Surely thou wilt fear me, thou wilt receive instruction; so their dwelling should not be cut off, howsoever I punished them: but they rose early, [and] corrupted all their doings.8Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination [is] to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, [even] all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.9For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.
Mark 13:19-27 (KJV)
19For [in] those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.20And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.21And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here [is] Christ; or, lo, [he is] there; believe [him] not:22For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if [it were] possible, even the elect.23But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.24But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,25And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.26And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.27And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
Mark 13:32-33 (KJV)
32But of that day and [that] hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.33Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
Mark 13:35-37 (KJV)
35Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:36Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.37And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Ezekiel 34 and Micah 5
Both of these chapters are about the return of Jesus Christ to judge the nations with the saints who will be able to appear and disappear with great power and authority to judge and destroy the wicked.
Ezek 34:23-24 (KJV)
23And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, [even] my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.24And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken [it].

Ezek 34:2-5 (KJV)
2Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe [be] to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?3Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: [but] ye feed not the flock.4The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up [that which was] broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.5And they were scattered, because [there is] no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.
Ezek 34:21-26 (KJV)
21Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad;22Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.23And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, [even] my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.24And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken [it].25And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.26And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.
Mic 5:1-4 (KJV)
1Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.2But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, [though] thou be little among the thousands of Judah, [yet] out of thee shall he come forth unto me [that is] to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth [have been] from of old, from everlasting.3Therefore will he give them up, until the time [that] she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.4And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

Mic 5:7-11 (KJV)
7And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the LORD, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.8And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.9Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.10And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy thy chariots:11And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strong holds:
Mic 5:12-15 (KJV)
12And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no [more] soothsayers:13Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands.14And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities.15And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.

Revelation 3 and Philemon 1 plus Titus 3
Having garments that are defiled and denying the name of the LORD and justifying a materialistic life results in closing the door to commune with Christ in a deep love union and to reject those who would come into the church who have been shown the mercy of God. It results in trusting in our own works to save us instead of reciprocating the mercy and grace of God.
Rev 3:7-13 (KJV)
7And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;8I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.9Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.10Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.11Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.12Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, [which is] new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and [I will write upon him] my new name.13He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Phlm 1:11-17 (KJV)
11Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:12Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:13Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:14But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.15For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever;16Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?17If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.

Titus 3:3-6 (KJV)
3For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, [and] hating one another.4But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

Revelation 15 and Judges 9
Abimelech which is a type of the Anti-Christ is extremely corrupt and evil and seeks power and glory at the cost of killing the seventy sons of Gideon who ruled the land with justice. The son of Gideon that escaped pronounces a curse up the men of Shechem and Abimelech that results in there total judgment and destruction. In Revelation 15 the curses of God come upon the Anti-Christ in the world that destroys them and brings in the kingdom of God.

Rev 15:1-8 (KJV)
1And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.2And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, [and] over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.3And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous [are] thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true [are] thy ways, thou King of saints.4Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for [thou] only [art] holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.5And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:6And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.7And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.8And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
Judg 9:13-22 (KJV)
13And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?14Then said all the trees unto the bramble, Come thou, [and] reign over us.15And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, [then] come [and] put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon.16Now therefore, if ye have done truly and sincerely, in that ye have made Abimelech king, and if ye have dealt well with Jerubbaal and his house, and have done unto him according to the deserving of his hands;17(For my father fought for you, and adventured his life far, and delivered you out of the hand of Midian:18And ye are risen up against my father’s house this day, and have slain his sons, threescore and ten persons, upon one stone, and have made Abimelech, the son of his maidservant, king over the men of Shechem, because he [is] your brother;)19If ye then have dealt truly and sincerely with Jerubbaal and with his house this day, [then] rejoice ye in Abimelech, and let him also rejoice in you:20But if not, let fire come out from Abimelech, and devour the men of Shechem, and the house of Millo; and let fire come out from the men of Shechem, and from the house of Millo, and devour Abimelech.21And Jotham ran away, and fled, and went to Beer, and dwelt there, for fear of Abimelech his brother.22When Abimelech had reigned three years over Israel,

John 15 and John 9
The secret to abiding in God the Father through Jesus Christ is learning total dependency on God instead of trusting in our own sufficiency in righteousness and all that we do in worship and in living out our worship to God the Father. In John 9 the clay that is put on the blind man’s eyes reveals the secret of abiding in God the Father through Jesus Christ. We cannot be like the church of Laodicea which said they saw and like the Pharisees which said they saw. We humble ourselves and seek with of heart of repentance for the washing of God’s word that will bring sight in Revelation in our love relationship with God. We die to identity and anything of this world such as our friends and have integrity with God at the cost of losing our friends.
John 15:5-7 (KJV)
5I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.6If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast [them] into the fire, and they are burned.7If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
John 15:10-14 (KJV)
10If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.11These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and [that] your joy might be full.12This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.13Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.14Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
John 15:16-17 (KJV)
16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.17These things I command you, that ye love one another.
John 9:24-34 (KJV)
24Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.25 He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner [or no], I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.26Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes?27He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear [it] again? will ye also be his disciples?28Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses’ disciples.29We know that God spake unto Moses: [as for] this [fellow], we know not from whence he is.30The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and [yet] he hath opened mine eyes.31Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.32Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind.33If this man were not of God, he could do nothing.34They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.
