God wants us to walk in the awareness of heart that all we are have is his possession. When God takes something from us that hold as very important to us and for the work of God it is hard to understand and easy to take offense at God. There is also a negative mindset to look at an oncoming trial or trial of your own grit of self-sufficiency with no joy because we do not see the light before us dispels the darkness of the trial.
