Scriptures Taken By Lot Before the LORD With Rough Notes

November 24, 2025 Monday
2 Chronicles 2 and 1 Chronicles 11
2Chr 1:1-13 (KJV)
1And Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the LORD his God was with him, and magnified him exceedingly.2Then Solomon spake unto all Israel, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and to the judges, and to every governor in all Israel, the chief of the fathers.3So Solomon, and all the congregation with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon; for there was the tabernacle of the congregation of God, which Moses the servant of the LORD had made in the wilderness.4But the ark of God had David brought up from Kirjathjearim to the place which David had prepared for it: for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem.5Moreover the brasen altar, that Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, he put before the tabernacle of the LORD: and Solomon and the congregation sought unto it.6And Solomon went up thither to the brasen altar before the LORD, which was at the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered a thousand burnt offerings upon it.7In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee.8And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.9Now, O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.10Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?11And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:12Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.13Then Solomon came from his journey to the high place that was at Gibeon to Jerusalem, from before the tabernacle of the congregation, and reigned over Israel.

1Chr 11:1-9 (KJV)
1Then all Israel gathered themselves to David unto Hebron, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh.2And moreover in time past, even when Saul was king, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD thy God said unto thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be ruler over my people Israel.3Therefore came all the elders of Israel to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the LORD; and they anointed David king over Israel, according to the word of the LORD by Samuel.4And David and all Israel went to Jerusalem, which is Jebus; where the Jebusites were, the inhabitants of the land.5And the inhabitants of Jebus said to David, Thou shalt not come hither. Nevertheless David took the castle of Zion, which is the city of David.6And David said, Whosoever smiteth the Jebusites first shall be chief and captain. So Joab the son of Zeruiah went first up, and was chief.7And David dwelt in the castle; therefore they called it the city of David.8And he built the city round about, even from Millo round about: and Joab repaired the rest of the city.9So David waxed greater and greater: for the LORD of hosts was with him.

Psalms 119:

Ps 119:17-24 (KJV)
17GIMEL. Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.18Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.19I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.20My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.21Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.22Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.23Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.24Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.
GIMEL: means gather, walk, carry
For God to deal bountifully with us means that our life will not be cut short in this world and happens because we a living according to God’s desire which is in keeping His word and not our self-seeking desires. We feel and are a stranger in this earth because we are not alive unto this world and it is then that God can reveal to us His commandments for our lives on this earth. There should also be a great longing in our soul to see the integrity of God’s love in judging also that is contrary to this holiness of God’s love. This means for example, that there is a great longing to see God rebuke the proud that defy God and justify evil against His commandments. Demonic powers and the wicked may bring reproach and contempt against us but it does not scare or move us because we are living a holy life that testifies of the realty of God in our life and gives no ground for these attacks to take hold of us. We do not focus on important corrupt people that speak against us by turning our focus from this through mediating on God’s word. What testifies of the reality of Yaweh, The Almighties, is what we delight in and this is what brings good counsel in our decisions each day.

Ecclesiastes 1 and Hosea 4 plus Psalms 119:25 to 30
Ps 119:25-32 (KJV)
25DALETH. My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.26I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.27Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.28My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.29Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.30I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.31I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.32I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.
DALETH means movement, hang, entering
Our soul cleaves onto the awareness that we are nothing apart from God and this is a humbling that brings the grace of God and therein the life of God into us. We are to make known our tendencies towards folly and failure to God and out of that humility God then hears us and teaches us the instructions and commandments to lead us into righteousness. We then should ask God to cause us to understand the way or principles that are behind God’s more specific instructions in our life. This will result in us wanting to share the wondrous works of God. When we feel despondent because of oppression it is then we should ask God to strengthen us according to His word. We need to also pray for God to remove the deceptions to not be truthful in our life so that we can receive God’s law with grace. Rather let us choose the way of truth and lay before us in our mind and heart like watching a movie the judgments of God on evil as shown around us and in His word. When we make God’s testimonies something that we hold close and dear to us then we can ask God to not put us to shame. We can even come to run and not slowly walk in the ways behind God’s commandments when God enlarges our heart in desire for God and His ways.

Hos 4:11-19 (KJV)
11Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart.12My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.13They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery.14I will not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, nor your spouses when they commit adultery: for themselves are separated with whores, and they sacrifice with harlots: therefore the people that doth not understand shall fall.15Though thou, Israel, play the harlot, yet let not Judah offend; and come not ye unto Gilgal, neither go ye up to Bethaven, nor swear, The LORD liveth.16For Israel slideth back as a backsliding heifer: now the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a large place.17Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone.18Their drink is sour: they have committed whoredom continually: her rulers with shame do love, Give ye.19The wind hath bound her up in her wings, and they shall be ashamed because of their sacrifices.

Proverbs 23 and 1 Kings 13 plus Psalms 119:33 to 40
Do not at all allow compromise in your life with anyone even those that are very important and wealthy but are wicked. The prophet compromised the commandment of God to him with someone that supposedly was a great prophet. He allowed himself to be decieved.
Prov 23:17-19 (KJV)
17Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the LORD all the day long.18For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.19Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way.
Prov 23:23-26 (KJV)
23Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.24The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.25Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice.26My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.

Ps 119:33-40 (KJV)
33HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.34Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.35Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.36Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.37Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.38Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.39Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.40Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

HE meaning look reveal breath sigh
We are to ask God to teach us the mode of action and principles that come out of God’s statues which are His commandments. It is then we will be able to keep them consistently throughout our whole life until the end. We are to ask God for understanding in order to keep His law and resolve before God that we will keep it with our whole heart. We are to ask God that we would make the decisions and take the steps in our life that come out of His commandments and this should be because we delight in the commandments of God. We are to ask God to give us a tendency to have our heart focused on His testimonies because it will take us away from the tendency of covetousness. We are also to ask God to turn our eyes away from beholding vanity and instead to bring His life to us that is in the ways of God. Ask God to establish His word in us because we are committed to choosing to genuinely fear GOD. As we acknowledge that God’s judgments are good we can then ask God to turn away the reproach from us which we fear. As we long after God’s specific instructions for our life God will bring life to us as we live a righteous life.

Jeremiah 25 and Isaiah 15 plus Psalms 119:41 to 48

Ps 119:41-48 (KJV)
41VAU. Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.42So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.43And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.44So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.45And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.46I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.47And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.48My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.

VAU meaning add, secure, hook
We are to ask God for His mercies to come down unto us according to His Word which means that it is when we are in conformity to His Being of Holy pure Apage love. When we do this and also trust in God’s Word it gives us the answers toward the devil and his cohorts that reproach us so that their reproach is powerless and broken. When there is a plea to God that is out of humility recognizing how far we have fallen short of being truthful then God will put the word of truth in our mouth and this is also because we have not failed to hope to see God bring justice against those that reproach us. When we do this there is the resolve to keep God’s law forever because it is truly in our heart. We will also be living as truly free and not bound nor in bondage to any.
