Rough Notes for week of May 1 to 8, 2022:
May 2, 2022 Monday
Daniel 7 and Ephesians 1
The certainty of our soon coming inheritance in the everlasting kingdom of God.
Dan 7:9-10 (KJV)
9I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.10A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
Dan 7:13-14 (KJV)
13I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.14And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
Dan 7:17-18 (KJV)
17These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.18But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.
Eph 1:9-10 (KJV)
9Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:10That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
Eph 1:6 (KJV)
6To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Eph 1:12 (KJV)
12That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

Psalms 73 and 1 Timothy 2
Ps 73:22-28 (KJV)
22So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.23Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.24Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.25Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.26My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.27For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.28But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
Ps 73:17-21 (KJV)
17Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.18Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.19How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.20As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.21Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
1Tim 2:4-6 (KJV)
4Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.5For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;6Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
1Tim 2:8-9 (KJV)
8I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.9In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

1 Chronicles 16 and Exodus 23
Both chapters are about conquering corruption and the land for the glory of God in the context of gathering as a nation in much worship before God.
1Chr 16:1-2 (KJV)
1So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.2And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.
1Chr 16:35-36 (KJV)
35And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.36Blessed be the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.
1Chr 16:4-7 (KJV)
4And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:5Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obededom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals;6Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.7Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
1Chr 16:14-18 (KJV)
14He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.15Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;16Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;17And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,18Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;
Exod 23:12-14 (KJV)
12Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.13And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.14Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.
Exod 23:20-22 (KJV)
20Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.21Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.22But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
Exod 23:23-25 (KJV)
23For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.24Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.25And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
Exod 23:27-28 (KJV)
27I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.28And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
Exod 23:32-33 (KJV)
32Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.33They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.

Numbers 14; Deuteronomy 7 and Isaiah 25
Both chapters are about conquering and inheriting the nations for the Kingdom of God.
Isa 25:7-12 (KJV)
7And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.8He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.9And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.10For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.11And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.12And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.
Deut 7:1-5 (KJV)
1When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;2And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:3Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.4For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.5But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.
Deut 7:21-26 (KJV)
21Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the LORD thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible.22And the LORD thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.23But the LORD thy God shall deliver them unto thee, and shall destroy them with a mighty destruction, until they be destroyed.24And he shall deliver their kings into thine hand, and thou shalt destroy their name from under heaven: there shall no man be able to stand before thee, until thou have destroyed them.25The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God.26Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.

Genesis 31 and 2 Chronicles 11:
Both of these chapters are about a coming out and a division of the people of God in order to establish greater purity in the true people of God and a process of purification to eventual full unity of the people of God.
Gen 31:12-13 (KJV)
12And he said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see, all the rams which leap upon the cattle are ringstraked, speckled, and grisled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee.13I am the God of Bethel, where thou anointedst the pillar, and where thou vowedst a vow unto me: now arise, get thee out from this land, and return unto the land of thy kindred.
2Chr 11:15-17 (KJV)
15And he ordained him priests for the high places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made.16And after them out of all the tribes of Israel such as set their hearts to seek the LORD God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice unto the LORD God of their fathers.17So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong, three years: for three years they walked in the way of David and Solomon.
Hag 1:2-5 (KJV)
2Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD’S house should be built.3Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,4Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?5Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
Zech 11:10-14 (KJV)
10And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.11And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the LORD.12And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.13And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.14Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.

Hosea 9 2 Samuel 12 and Psalms 21
These chapters are about God’s blessing on those who fear Him and have a repentant heart so that God does not impute sin to them. They are a contrast.
Hos 9:9-11 (KJV)
9They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the days of Gibeah: therefore he will remember their iniquity, he will visit their sins.10I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: but they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and their abominations were according as they loved.11As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.
Ps 21:6-8 (KJV)
6For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.7For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.8Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
2 Samuel 12:

Job 19, Mark 15
These two chapters are about those who call themselves God’s people wrongly accusing and judging the righteous that seem to be forsaken by God.
Job 19:23-25 (KJV)
23Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!24That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!25For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
Mark 15:28-33 (KJV)
28And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.29And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,30Save thyself, and come down from the cross.31Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save.32Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.33And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.
